ADOPTION CENTER WISH LIST

There is more to donating to the Alaska SPCA than money alone. We also need every-day items to help offset costs and keep our rescued animals healthy and provide them with a safe, clean shelter.

All of the items listed below are gladly accepted at the Pet Adoption Center. Donations of items not listed should go to our Thrift Shop.

Currently we have plenty of toys and treats and towels. Items listed in red below are the MOST needed. Thank you.
   
For the Cats
• Cat food (dry and wet)
Clay cat litternon-clumping type, please
• Large litter pans
• Kitty treats
• Catnip
• Soft cat beds or pads
• Cat trees or scratching posts
• Cat brushes
• Bath towels

For the Dogs
Dry dog food (Pedigree, Iams, Kirkland)
• Bedding, bath towels, blankets, Karanda beds
• Water buckets
• Food bowls
• Treats (biscuits, Greenies, rawhides, pig ears)
• Dog shampoo
• "Pooper-scoopers" or shovels

Cleaning Supplies
• Bleach
• Sponges, scraping pads
• Anti-bacterial dish washing soap/hand sanitizer
• Mop heads and buckets with ringers
• Clean squirt bottles

Office Supplies
• Copy/printing paper
• Stamps
• Printer ink for inkjets:
   Canon (#5 black, #8 color)
• Card Stock
• Light bulbs
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Toilet bowl cleaner, brush and plunger

The Alaska SPCA is a private, non-profit organization funded by donations and proceeds from our thrift shop. We do not receive any funding from government sources, nor are we affiliated with any national organization. All proceeds from our services benefit our shelter animals and programs.
