Have an event or meeting which you would like to host at the Walt Whitman Birthplace State Historic Site and Interpretive Center? Located in the cultural center of Long Island, the Walt Whitman Birthplace might be the right setting for your event. Our facility features a P.A. system, seating for up to 70 adults in the multi-purpose room, chairs and tables, TV and VCR, and handicapped accessible restrooms. Groups of 100 may use the exhibit room. Guided tours of the Walt Whitman Birthplace and exhibit may also be available.
