Creating you own headers from scratch are beyond the scope of this lesson. However, if your interested in learning how to manipulate and create your own headers, from all the free headers that we'll be presenting to you that we found from all the free header websites that can be found all over the internet. We'll also give you all the URL's that you'll need that contain all styles of particular headers that may be looking for).
Once you find the style of header that you're looking for you're going to need a a tool that will help you to manipulate the header so can be changed to look the way you want your header to look.
The web standard of graphic programs is Adobe Photoshop. Unfortunately, this program comes with a $500 price tag.
Let me tell you a secret that you may or you may not be aware of when trying to find out how the internet works, and how you can learn how to become an expert at internet design and marketing. The trick is there are always free tools you can use so you're stuck with always to pay hundreds of dollars for software, every time you decide to tackle a new project.
The free source programs are Open Source programs, meaning that the programs are available for you to use for free, as long as you don't change or alter any of the software. If someone is spend hundreds of hours to develop free software for you to use you should be thankful to those individuals and and you should stay within the boundaries and parameters set forth in the agreements you agree to before you are allowed to download the programs.
Once of the Open Source programs for you to use to manipulate and change header graphics is called Gimp. This is a wonderful program and with less than five hours of set aside to watch and learn from the tutorials you will soon become an expert in how to create professional looking graphics that anyone would be glad to present on their website.
