Parent News:

A leading developmental specialist from Wolf Creek, Oregon offers his innovative, impactful seminar for Madrone Trail and friends at a great discount.
(Thank you Shawna and Doug)

Jon has blended his knowledge, studies, experiences and teachings over the last 30 years into an elegant system for addressing the most acute and subtle challenges faced by children and adults.

All of us, children and adults alike, can get stuck in certain patterns.  This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as birth trauma, developmental difficulties, our environment, and many others.  Jon’s workshops teach us how to clear these old patterns in a hands-on format using play, movement, and specifically designed processes to help us integrate early reflexes and to complete important developmental processes. In one component of the course Jon has combined powerful developmental movement with interesting, involving stories. Simply by reading the stories and leading specific infant movement patterns, we can make significant shifts in learning and behavior.

Jon has had great success working with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities of all types, autism, sensory integration difficulties (everything is too loud, bright, itchy or I need more, more, more sensory input), fetal alcohol syndrome, stroke damage, sleep difficulties and much more.

 Instructor

Jon Bredal, brings over 30 years of experience working with children and youth. He has seventeen years of classroom experience and has been involved with Brain Gym for twenty years; first as a classroom teacher of students with behavior challenges and later with foster care families, incarcerated youth, children in treatment, teens in public and private schools, on sports teams, and as a consultant in mental health care and education. He maintains a private practice in Wolf Creek, Oregon, and travels throughout the world sharing his work.

Jon’s teachings are in perfect harmony with the Waldorf philosophies and the wonderful things our teachers are already doing. Please attend with our teachers and join them in improving the quality of our lives. Jon offers an effective way to create positive change and self-empowerment. Learn to transform challenges into strengths. Be prepared to experience amazing results and to have fun.

Testimonials:

Melanne Evans, a parent of three children from Longview, WA: “Just imagine your children listening to mesmerizing stories, being led through simple movements and making significant learning gains all within a matter of minutes. It is such an easy, joyful way to help my kids. Immediately after the course I felt completely capable and confident in using what I learned. Now my kids and I are going to newer and higher levels. I loved this workshop!”

“When my son started school the counselors wanted to medicate him for ADHD. Since doing the healing activities, he made profound changes. His self-awareness, impulse control and his ability to focus in school have improved his performance both academically and socially. The activities have changed his life and my life.   S.T., Everett, WA

I got tremendous relief from this course. I was beginning to feel like nobody was going beyond the conventional ways of helping kids heal. I am so proud that a fellow human being is willing to follow his intuition and help others open their hearts to heal such beautiful souls. I am inspired to continue with this type of work. The workshop was wonderful. It provided hands on, experiential learning, which I enjoyed and gave detailed information (the manual) about the process of healing.        Alysia Little
