VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT SRM
Even without a physical shelter SRM can provide any number of volunteer opportunities. If you have a special talent that we've failed to mention in the list below, which is by no means complete, please let us know about yourself and your talents just Click Here.
- Become a Foster Parent (see page on fostering)
- Join our Intake team- training required, dependable vehicle required, digital camera and computer helpful!
- Good with people? Join our Fundraising Team- training required, professional attitude a must!
- Like to plan things, Our Special Events team is for you!
- MetroMeow- Our newsletter team needs computer literate people!
- Transport Team-requires dependable vehicle with working heat and A/C, cell phone or phone card, UTD registration and insurance coverage and it helps if you have a roadside assistance plan!
- Show Team- Metro attends Cat shows during the year to hand out literature and sell our retail goods, Good people skills and an ability to load and unload supplies and donations at shows end is required!
- Craft Team- Sewers for bedmaking project, quilters, crafters of all kinds to produce retail goods for resale by SRM needed!
- Patient with people? Time to chat on the phone? Then our Interview Team might be the spot for you! Training is required.
- Adoption Team-follows up approved adopters to keep them appraised of new animals entering our program and ready to adopt!
These are only some of the volunteer opportunities available at Siamese Rescue Metro. We are a young organization and growing daily, so get on board now while there is still plenty of room to stretch your wings!
Every dollar received by SRM makes a difference in the life of an animal. There are no small donations at SRM! Please consider donating to our cause. $5.00 can buy a case of food for a foster, litter, litterboxes and scoops or many other necessary items. Thank you so much for caring!
