Many of you have being saying prayers for CoCo's recovery and we are happy to report that he is home from the vet hospital, has gained about two pounds and has completely normal lab values. His new family is so happy he is doing well and chasing the other kitties around!





Mischief and Mayhem  These were some of our first adoptees and their mom has generously sent us new photos of this pair so we could see how they've grown....  Seems they've grown into just one heart shaped Meezer... perhaps she needs to adopt another kitty so she'll still have two needing laps!

BELLE aka SHEBA  Meet our MIRACULOUS MEEZER. Hit by a car and left by the side of the road to die alone, a passing motorist saw her, scooped her into her car and raced to the local SPCA, not knowing they would most likely euthanize her. The vet working that day just could not put her down, she purred and charmed him so well that he and some "friends" donated several thousand dollars worth of orthopedic surgery to heal her injuries. The shelter couldn't keep her alive forever but they couldn't bear to put her down just because they became full 2 months after her injury, so they placed her with another SPCA hoping she would find a home but no luck. Once again her number was up and she was a day from being PTS, (put to sleep),when SRM was called and moved heaven and earth to get her out in time and into foster care. Her adopter saw her photo and read her story and knew that this was HER cat, even without meeting her. Everyone cried the day Belle went home, especially her foster mom Esther! Belle was renamed "Sheba" as she has become queen of the condo where she now resides or should we say rules? Not every story has such a wonderful resolution; we're happy to be able to be part of this Happy Tail and to share it with you, our supporters!


HI HI!! We're Einstein and Phantom two of the kittens born at SRM... we're growing fast, at least that's what mom says! We're very busy checking out all the toys and grown-up stuff here. We love our new mom and dad and our brother and sister too! We hope the rest of our siblings are as happy as we are, and as busy too! XOXOXOXO !
 
Hi! We're Liberty and Bell two of Arielle's Nine! Our mom and dad came all the way from Philadelphia to pick us up. It was a long ride home but we entertained mom and dad with our Meezer singing voices!

And Liberty is taking lessons in Computer Sciences!

We've been busy taking over our new home and making friends with our new doggie (did they get her just for US? she sure has a fun tail to chase!) and the neighbors who come to adore, oops we mean admire us! Well keep ya posted

To anyone who has been watching our adoptions page, this is wonderful news... Sophie and Tazlyn after spending 11 months in Foster Care are finally in a forever home, where they are loved, adored and appreciated for the special Meezers that they are! It was amazing to all of us who know them,when upon first meeting their family, Taz jumped immediately into her new dads lap and promptly began to purr and Shy Sophie did the same with mom! It took only 3 days for Taz to venture out into the house and Sophie soon followed! These girls KNOW HOME... and we at Siamese Rescue Metro would like to specially thank their adopters for looking past Taz's 12 years to see how many more she has left to share with them. To them, the glass is half full! Thanks Cat and family! 




HI, I'm Charli (Charlotte) one of Nealy's seven babies... but I'm NOT a baby anymore! I'm special, did you know that? I was adopted the very MINUTE I was born.... and NO not by my foster mom either! 
Charli is a VERY big girl now and has decided that she loves taking a shower every day with her mom! Yes, you read that correctly, she literally stands in the shower till she is soaking, sopping wet, then gets out to be toweled off with mom! Charli is also taking scuba diving lessons in the kitchen sink......There's just no telling what these Meezer mix babies are going to do!
