Siamese Rescue Metro is a non-profit labor of love begun to fill the needs of abused, abandoned and surrendered Siamese cats on a local level. We are a grassroots, volunteer run organization located in suburban Philadelphia and currently serving the areas of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC Metro area and portions of New York and Virginia. We exist in great part on the donations we receive as well as on the proceeds from fundraising efforts. Our mission is simple; to evaluate, rehabilitate and place the Siamese we rescue into loving and appropriate forever homes.
Siamese Rescue Metro has no freestanding facility to house our rescued animals. We use a foster care system, so our animals are currently fostered in both PA and NJ. Approved adopters may visit with our available cats by making an appointment. Please realize that as an all volunteer organization our schedules are not always as flexible as we would like. We will work with you to accommodate everyone's schedule as much as possible.

Time files when you are rescuing Siamese! As of the 4th of July, we have twenty-six wonderful Siamese in the Rescue. Thru no fault of their own, these deserving cats have ended up in shelters or wandering the streets alone and scared. Please check out our Available page to see many of these cutie pies.
Due to the difficulties of foreclosures, job losses and an uncertain economy, we still have many more cats than we have money to care for. Although I always have found a space for the needy ones, I have been forced to turn away many cats in the past months because donations are down and adoptions are infrequent. I worry every day that someone will get sick and require vet care that my personal credit cards will not stretch to cover. Even a donation of a few dollars or a gift card to Petsmart will help us feed and care for a few more. Adopting one or two needy meezers will make an even bigger impact!
