SPONSORSHIP BOOKLETS

Request a donation "coupon book" to keep with your bills, each month when you write checks to pay our bills, you also make a donation check out to rescue. Simple, isn^t it?

AUTOMATIC DEBIT PROGRAM (Checking, Savings or Credit Card accounts).

This is quickly becomming our most popular option!
- Request an automatic debit form from SRM which you fill out and return to your bank or Credit Card holder for processing
- Be sure to ask them when your first debit date will be
- Mail back to SRM the enclosed postcard telling us the amount of your pledge, how often we should expect it and the first debit date
- SRM will notify you when your first pledge arrives!
***HINT** If you use a credit card, using your Discover Card will gain you back a percentage of what you donate!

For the security concious use of these plans guaratees that SRM is never given access to your bank account numbers or your credit card number, so there is no chance that anyone could misuse your account information!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTORS.....Being able to predict what a portion of our monthly donations will be gives SRM the ability to rescue more cats by allowing us to budget our funding accordingly. Without this knowledge we are forced to be conservative in the number of cats we rescue, not knowing if we will have the funding to pay for their vet care (a major concern). Pledging $10 a week (less expensive that going to see a movie!) gives us $40 a month which could pay for combo testing 3 animals, vaccinating 4 cats for rabies or a host of other veterinary needs. Your donation can mean the difference between life and death for an animal sitting in a shelter today. Even if you cannot adopt a cat at this time, you can still save a life -just by making a pledge!

ONE EXTRA FOR METRO!

SRM is proud to introduce you to a unique way to donate that doesn^t require a long-term committment or a great deal of money! It^s simple and the benefits to our Siamese in foster care are immeasurable!
- Every time you shop for your own pets needs just purchase one extra of whatever you are buying! One can of food (or cases are greatly appreciated if you shop in bulk!), bag of litter or even a new brush.
- Mark a cardboard box with METRO on the side and drop these goodies in it after each shopping trip.
- Once the box is half-full, you can drop it off to one of our fosters in your area, to our mailing address or give us a call and we^ll try to arrange a pick-up of the goods!
- SRM will take your donations and share them amongst our foster homes currently housing cats.

  I GIVE.COM Shopping from home using your computer can earn dollars for SRM! How, you may ask? Major retailers across the country have realized the power of the internet for sales. Retailers pledge a portion of your sale to donations clearinghouses like Igive.com. Once you sign up and list Siamese Rescue Metro , as your designated charity (be careful as we are not the only Siamese Rescue listed there) Igive will track your purchases and calculate how much of that purchase is owed to SRM. Quarterly they send us a check!

  Currently they are running a promotion for new accounts, just for signing up you get an extra $5.00 if you shop within 45 days after joining, SRM also gets a bonus, so hurry and join! These numbers really add up for us. There is no "hidden markup" of prices for igive shoppers (we^ve checked many times). - CAT TOYS ANYONE?
  
  Another great website where you can buy great toys for cats based on breed, personality and their known favorites! Go to Cattoys.com by clicking on the colored name in this sentence and shop till you drop! While you are there you can send a toy to a shelter cat, OR spoil your own tremendously! SRM receives boxes of toys,free of charge, periodically from this retailer. These toys are given to our foster cats to play with and also placed into our "adoption packs" when someone goes home. Please consider giving them your "cat toy business", as they have been generous to us from our inception!
- TIPS FOR DONATIONS OF FOOD OR LITTER DIRECTLY TO METRO

  Purchase gift cards online or in person at stores like Petsmart, Petco,or discount stores like BJ^s and Sams club and send directly to SRM. Rescue can purchase what is needed most at that time and no money is "wasted" on high shipping charges for heavier items like litter so instead of donating $10 you can actually donate $17.50 or more since you won^t spend that to ship the goods!
  
  Consider setting up an "automatic delivery" also called bottomless bowls at some online stores. This lets you send the same order to SRM once a month (or as often as you choose) without having to repeat the order each time. Food is shipped on specific dates and rescue knows ahead of time what we can expect each month towards our food/litter needs.Orders may be cancelled at any time.
  
  Ask your local discount clubs and pet food stores if they would consider donating broken bags of dry food/litter or damaged cans (not broken) to SRM. We can provide you with a letter of introducton on our letterhead, if necessary. Please note that we do not yet have our 501(c)3 status . Arrange for pick-up of these items and SRM will arrange to transfer them from your home to our central supply point.
  
  NOTE from the Foster Director**** While all donations are greatly appreciated it seems that most of the fosters have an aversion to the food with "chunks" of meat or vegetables in them and nobody is willing to eat anything that is beef flavored, the more pureed foods are more popular and have less waste; we thought the fosters weren^t picky! Also, if you can find the large 12 oz. or more cans of food it really saves my hands when opening so many small cans a day, but if not, please don^t stop giving!
