POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Education Outreach Coordinator
Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: Based on qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plans, schedules and conducts prevention based educational presentations.
· Designs and updates brochures and other promotional materials.
· Maintains statistics on education program.
· Assists in organizing and implementing activities during Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month.
· Actively advocates for social change by responding to media coverage of sexual violence, provide opportunities for the community to speak out against sexual violence.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology or related field from a college or university.
· One to two years related experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be compassionate, dedicated and committed to ending sexual violence.
· Bi-lingual skills desired.
