Ms. Peggy Sue This 11 year old kitty was found hiding in an apartment when her owner had died two weeks previously.  For two weeks she had no food, water, heat or human contact.  The landlord heard noises in the upstairs apartment and remembered that the elderly woman had a pet.  Peggy Sue has lots of love and cuddlying to give if she is only given the chance.  Visit Peggy Sue at the PETCO at Main & Tranist (beside the Old Country Buffet) and see if she wants to adopt you.   Adopted

Zack Behind these big green scared eyes lies a sweet and loving 2 year old male cat who is looking for love!   Left behind by his owners, he fended for himself this winter untill a nice lady saw him trying to stay warm under her deck.  She started to feed him as he was very thin and she called us to come and rescue him.  He would do well in a quiet home with no dogs. Lyndsey Lyndsey – “The Queen”.  She was rescued from under a parked care in the City of Buffalo. She loves to be the queen of her domain and will be sprawled out on any lap in a matter of moments.  She sometimes has issues with other and would do best in a situation where she is the only cat or can be the dominant cat.  She does not hesitate to “voice” her opinion when she is hungry or  needs some attention and loving. Tinsel Alone, cold, scared and hungry is what this poor 1 1/2 year old male had to look forward to every day of his life until we rescued him.  His owners had moved and left many cats behind, Tinsel being one of them.  He is very sweet and loving and is now learning to trust humans once again.  Cat friendly. "Ronnie" Gerinimo or "Ronnie" to his friends, is a big, handsome hunk of cat.  He was abandoned in an apartment by his owner and was not found for over a week by the landlord who immediately called us.  This two year old male needs a home with lots of love and understanding.  He is cat friendly and people friendly, however, he takes a bit to learn to trust again.  Wouldn't you???   Visit Ronnie & see if he wants to adopt you!

Alexis This 2 year old female is as beautiful as she is sweet!  She was found sitting on the steps of a boarded up house waiting for her "owners" to come back for her.  If only she could have talked, the neighbor would have told her that they were gone and just put her out to fend for herself!  She is very quiet, sweet, loves to be held and loves to cuddle.  . EC   Big, handsome, quiet and loveable is the only way we can discribe this 3 year old male cat.  He was found living under a building at ECC North Campus.  Lucky for him, one of our volunteers works there and she and the security team made it their mission to rescue this wonderful animal.  He needs a quiet home where he can learn to trust the "human race" again as his owners have let him down when the left him there. Ms. Katie   This wonderful 1 1/2 year old female came to our doorstep with a hugh gaping wound under her arem.  She was thin, very matted and in need of reconstructive surgery.  Surgery was done, she is now happy, healthy and looking for love.  People and cat friendly. Gidget    Gidget came to Second Chance with a swollen front leg.  After medical care and x-rays, our veterinarian determined that she had injured her leg in the past and it had gone untreated.  Imagine the pain and suffering this poor 1 1/2 year old female went through until her leg healed. Her leg is now throughly healed and she walks with a slight limp occasionally.   She is a loving and sweet creature who loves to be brushed and held.  If you would like to make Gidget the "Queen of your Home", call 652-6051                                  Adopted
