Prior to her association with Historic Albany, Samantha spent 5 years with the Galveston Historical Foundation, which is this country’s second largest preservation organization. At Historic Galveston, she was the manager of the Preservation Resource Center, a research facility that offers historic property research, neighborhood information and technical rehabilitation guidance. She also organized the annual Demonstration Class Series, which provides homeowners with how-to information; and oversaw the nationally recognized Paint Partnership and Paint Pals programs that provide paint to low-income homeowners.
Most recently Samantha has completed her coursework for a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning at Cornell University, and is currently working on completing her thesis.
