Meet the Staff

Samantha Bosshart, Executive Director

Samantha Bosshart began her new position at the Foundation in June  2008. She comes to the Preservation Foundation from Historic Albany, where she was the Director of Preservation Services.

Prior to her association with Historic Albany, Samantha spent 5 years with the Galveston Historical Foundation, which is this country’s second largest preservation organization. At Historic Galveston, she was the manager of the Preservation Resource Center, a research facility that offers historic property research, neighborhood information and technical rehabilitation guidance. She also organized the annual Demonstration Class Series, which provides homeowners with how-to information; and oversaw the nationally recognized Paint Partnership and Paint Pals programs that provide paint to low-income homeowners.

Most recently Samantha has completed her coursework for a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning at Cornell University, and is currently working on completing her thesis.
