Historic Plaque Program 
Perhaps you’ve noticed these plaques on homes in Saratoga Springs that tell the date of a building and the name and profession of the people for whom it was built. These plaques commemorate a building, and the stewardship of an owner in preserving and maintaining the home’s historic character.
If you would like your home to have this kind of recognition, the Preservation Foundation’s Historic Plaque Program can help you. We have trained volunteers who research the ownership history of your home and suggest a designation for the plaque. After your review, the plaque is cast in bronze. The cost of an historic plaque and the house history is $270 for members, $300 for non-members.
