 Living in a Historic District

Working with Design Review

This workshop series is designed to provide information on the design review process and design review guidelines to homeowners, property owners and professionals. Jointly sponsored by the City of Saratoga Springs and the Preservation Foundation, and funded in part by a grant from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, this series included 6 sessions. The topics for these sessions were selected to assist property owners in understanding the Saratoga Springs Design Review Process and to assist property owners in understanding how to apply the city's design guidelines to renovation and restoration projects they may undertake.  Materials presented in each session are available electronically. Click on the title of each workshop to access the material.

Please note:  the mention of any specific products in these presentations does not constitute an endorsement of those products by the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation.  You should consult your design professional or builder for advice on product selection.
