How You Can Help

Greetings from Riverdale Neighborhood House!

Spring is in the air – but that’s not the only good news we have for you. Check out all the great happenings at RNH:
  • The Teen Program commemorated Black History Month with a performance of bomba, the unique and exciting genre of Afro Puerto Rican music.

  • RNH co-sponsored the Green It Up! panel discussion and town hall meeting on sustainable living in Riverdale. The panel was an exciting mix of leaders working to sustain our local environment, including Councilmember G. Oliver Koppell, Hilary Baum of the Riverdale CSA, and Dan Avery, the Sustainability and Climate Change Program Manager for the New York Botanical Garden.
  • RNH has raised over a million dollars for its Endowment Fund, which was created to ensure our continuing financial stability for the next 136 years.  For more information on making a contribution to the fund, please click here.

  • Did you know that every time you shop online, you can support RNH? Just go through the RNH YellowBrickMall page, shop at great online merchants – like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, and Target – and a percentage of every purchase will be donated to RNH! No login is required, and no personal information or credit card information is ever seen by the Yellow Brick Mall. So, please, bookmark our page (or save the link on your desktop) and support RNH by shopping online. It has never been easier to help the many families and individuals who rely on our outstanding services!
  • Are you interested in joining the RNH Pool or the summer day camp, or would you like to take an Infant/Child CPR and First Aid class? Call 718-549-8100 TODAY for more information on these or any of our other upcoming programs.

Best,

Your Neighbors at RNH
