Greetings from Riverdale Neighborhood House! The weather may be getting colder, but the fall season is just heating up at RNH, with lots of great news to celebrate!
The Universal Pre-Kindergarten classes celebrated Crazy Hat Day on October 31. The children paraded through RNH's grounds, sang Halloween songs, and showed off their creativity. Check out some of the zany, kooky, wacky hats by clicking here.
The After-School Program welcomed the new season with apple picking and, even better, apple eating!
RNH held its 135th Anniversary Annual Benefit on October 18. The event, which honored Master Builder Henry Kibel and recognized the longtime support of the Robert Bowne Foundation, was a huge success: we raised a record-breaking $145,000!
Another reason to celebrate: RNH just reached the million dollar mark for its Endowment Fund, which was created to ensure the non-profit agency's financial stability for the next 135 years. For more information on making a contribution to the Endowment Fund, please click here.
The Riverdale Press recently featured RNH's work in a wonderful editorial about our commitment to children and families.
Best,
Your Neighbors at RNH
