This April and May, eBay Giving Works--eBay’s program dedicated to charity listings--will be shining a Spotlight on the Environment.  eBay is encouraging everyone to raise money for organizations protecting the earth, including Riverdale Neighborhood House (RNH)!

How to Use eBay Giving Works
You can always use eBay Giving Works to list items and donate part or all of the final sale prices to RNH.  But during Spotlight on the Environment, eBay will focus special attention on RNH and the listings that benefit us.  Now is the perfect time to raise awareness of and funds for our mission!

Giving to RNH with eBay Giving Works just takes a minute. The next time you list an item on eBay.com, simply go to the Sell tab and:

·         Click Customize Your Listing

·         In the Choose How You’d Like To Sell Your Item area, go to the Sell Your Item form and look for the Donate a Percentage of Sale field (Click Show/Hide Options if you don’t see it)

·         Choose Select a New Nonprofit

·         In the pop-up window that appears, type “Riverdale Neighborhood House” in the Nonprofit Name or Keyword field

·         Select “Riverdale Neighborhood House” and choose any percentage (10-100%) you wish to donate to us (please note: there is a $5 minimum donation if your item sells)

P.S. Don’t Forget--the Early Bird Registration Deadline for the RNH Pool is Fast Approaching!

Register for RNH pool membership by April 25, 2008 and you’ll get a discount.  Plus, special rates are available for older adults and active members of other RNH programs, as well as for “weekend only” or “weekday only” memberships.

A summer at the RNH pool is more than just swimming: The full-sized pool and outdoor recreational activities--including tennis and basketball courts and a sprinkler--provide a comfortable local getaway for the whole community.

The pool program runs from Memorial Day weekend (May 24) through Labor Day (September 1), with seven-day operations beginning on June 9.
