One Stop Support Program (OSSP)

Elder abuse is so shocking a problem that it is often hidden out of shame, denied out of guilt, disclaimed by family members, and relegated to the darkest corners of a life. Caseworkers visit OSSP clients in their homes and provide counseling through the healing process and beyond.OSSS is one of the first and remain one of the only senior service providers in our area to offer an elder abuse prevention and intervention program.

The primary goals of OSSP are to:

• Mitigate and ultimately end our clients’ existing abusive relationships
• Promote prevention through education to seniors, service providers, local officials, and the general public about what constitutes elder abuse and how to address it
• Make seniors in our area aware that One Stop can help them resolve their problems and improve the quality of their lives
• Build new relationships and cultivate our existing partnerships in order to provide the best and most comprehensive services to our clients
