September is National
Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month
National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month

This is the 19th annual observance of a nationally declared month to promote the benefits of "recovery."  It is a time to celebrate all the individuals in "recovery," which means they are living free of alcohol and other drugs.  There are many roads to
recovery including access to treatment.  This is a time to credit treatment providers for their efforts to help people change their lives.  People with alcohol and drug use disorder can and do recover.
