Breakfast shifts: volunteer hours 6:45AM - 8AM. IMMEDIATE NEED for Monday morning. Please call Tammy (ext 19) or Carol (ext 21) with questions or to sign up.
Dinner shifts: volunteer hours 3:45PM - 6PM
Thank you for your interest in the position. We currently have no openings for dinner shifts. Check back soon to see if anything has opened up!
Day Shift Help Needed: We are looking for some great volunteers who can come in one day a week during the day. Tasks would include sorting and bagging perishable and bakery items that are delivered daily. Times needed are 8:30AM - 11:30AM, 9AM -Noon, 9AM - 2PM or 8:30AM - 1:30PM. Please call Tammy or Ray, our kitchen staff, to see where we can add you to our schedule! Tammy or Ray can be reached at 889-7770, ext 19.
The holidays are coming! We'll need help with the Scouting for Food effort on Saturday, November 8th. Our Thanksgiving baskets will be assembled and picked up by our clients on 11/24 & 11/25. We'll need volunteers on Monday, 11/24, from 8AM - 4PM and Tuesday, 11/25, from 9AM - 2PM. If you can help for an hour or two (or longer) on any of these dates, please e-mail or call Carol to sign up.

Please remember that the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter is open every day of the year. Volunteers are needed all year round for us to succeed at what we do. Please feel free to call anytime Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM to see what dates are available to help serve dinner, sort perishables in the morning, be an on-call, fill-in driver for pick-ups or ask what other opportunities may be available. OUR PROCEDURE for
COURT ORDERED COMMUNITY SERVICE
You need to come in and see DOUG or Tammy in the Kitchen. No appointment is needed, however, they will ONLY be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10AM - 11AM , 2:30-3:30PM or 5:30-6PM. Tammy will also be available on Saturday from 9AM -11AM.
WE will NO LONGER take phone calls (that includes voice mail) to schedule COURT ORDERED Community Service hours.
