Food Drive Coordinators:  Would you be able to coordinate a food drive at your workplace, civic group, school, college or place of worship?  We encourage you to collect a variety of items from our wishlist.  Non-periahable food items are distributed once a week on Mondays to families who can sign up one time a month for this emergency box of food.  On August 31, we distributed emergency food boxes to 138 families!  That means, if each family received a jar of peanut butter and a box of cereal as part of their non-perishable items, 138 jars of peanut butter and 138 boxes of cereal left our food pantry shelves.  Our food pantry needs to be replenished every week and a food drive coordinated by you woud be a tremendous help to us!  For more information or questions, contact Carol at carol@nsks.org or 889-7770 ext 21.

 Please remember that the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter is open every day of the year.  Volunteers are needed all year round for us to succeed at what we do.  Please feel free to call anytime Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM to see what dates are available to help serve dinner, sort perishables in the morning, be an on-call, fill-in driver for pick-ups or ask what other opportunities may be available.  Thanks for thinking of us!  To see what's available right now and be put on our volunteer schedule, call our kitchen staff at 889-7770.  If you are calling after hours, please leave a message in their voice mail, ext 19.
