When users are looking for a not
for profit website, sometimes they are actually looking
for a website about not for profits and sometimes they are
a nonprofit organization and they are looking to purchase
website services for their nonprofit.
Not
for profit website to most people means the same as
a nonprofit organization website, although it has been shown
in the past that some users are using the term incorrectly.
However, when used to refer to a nonprofit organization
and it is interchangeable.
When someone is setting up a website for an organization
and they do so with the intent of not for profit, we like
to think it is assumed that the work they are doing is the
work of a nonprofit organization because no matter how many
terms you use to describe a segment, either one hopes to
make a profit in a business or hopes to do the good work
