website design is the exciting process of setting up
the overall look of your nonprofit website. This is where
the vision begins. After perhaps years of viewing other
website, the nonprofit will now create their own vision.
We find nonprofits usually fall into three categories.
While this may seem obvious, without our mention may have
left you without really understanding this. We see nonprofit
who focus mainly on their design when you ask them about
the vision for their site, those who focus on content and
functionality, and those who focus on both.
While design is important, it is actually the least important
part of your website, unless you have a poor design. With
a poor design, the user leaves almost immediately and in
this case only, the design became the important element
of the website. However, that aside and in terms of non
profit web design, once a site has a general look of
a professional organization, it is actually the content
and functionality that predetermine user stay rates and
