Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important part of ensuring that Monmouth Day Care Center remains a leader in meeting the needs of young children and their families.  From high school students involved in community service to retired professionals sharing their expertise, there are many opportunities to contribute time and talent to Monmouth Day Care Center.

Classroom Volunteers
Volunteers are active in the classrooms assisting teachers and teacher assistants in the daily nurturing and development of the children.  They may read stories, play games, work on art projects, etc.

Board of Trustees
A Board composed exclusively of volunteers governs the Center.  It is the responsibility of this governing body to plan, create and implement policy to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Center congruent with the mission of the Center and the needs of the families we serve.
