It was quite a party as Satan led the demons in a victory celebration at the mouth of the tomb. He’s dead! He’s dead! Long live King Satan!

I’ll bet they were “cokin and tokin” and dancing themselves into a frenzy. Satan was right. He killed the Son of God and now would be recognized as a god himself.

But when the morning mist began to lift and the sun beams squeezed through the clouds a remarkable thing happened. He arose!

I wish I could have been there to see the face on Satan when Jesus the King stepped from the tomb and said, “I’m Back!”

Well, maybe He didn’t say it quite that way but I would have. Aren’t you glad I’m not God?

Off the Chart
I have been blessed with a boat which was never even on my wish list. God is so good that he gave me the opportunity to motor to the center of the lake and just drift in calm serenity as He has done when I meditate on His Word.

On the control panel I have a depth-sounder that sends an electrical impulse down and bounces it back measuring the distance so that I will know the depth of the water.

It occurred to me that if I put this device on the Bible it would send it’s sound down but never receive an echo back.

Such is the depth of God’s Word that has no shores.

Sleeping Giant
While you are sleeping, Satan and his devils are doing push-ups! They start their day sharp and in full-combat ready condition. And what are we Christians doing? We are slumbering, lethargic and passive in the presence of certain eternal death. The demons prowl the earth destroying every vestige of God’s promises while we nod off during the sermon and dust off our big white desktop Bible when we have company.

Is it any wonder that we have become the Saturday Night live in wide screen, living color and surround sound in the theatre of Hell. How the devils must delight in our plundered churches that have had the blood of Jesus squeezed from the Word of God leaving dry useless knowledge without saving grace.

How it must grieve the Lord that we won’t even show up for combat. Let the other guy do it. What does it take for the real men of God to be real men?

The end times are near. I can hear the hoof-beats, the trumpet is about to sound and the Church in unconscious and oblivious to the impending death and destruction that will follow the wrath of God upon His return.

What are you doing to lift up the sword of the Sprit? Don’t look to the guy next to you, look in the mirror. What are you doing to serve your King and Savior? You will need to answer to Him face to face soon and the time is short, the Lord is nearer than you think. Take action while you still have the choice or take the consequences of abandoning the call to arms He has commanded.

Who cares?
If we were outside together on a clear and sunny day and you were to declare that it was raining, what would my honest response to you be? Yes it is raining, no it is not or I’m not sure?

If you were to declare that there is a second Baptist of the Holy Spirit, that would make it that second time you were baptized in the Holy Spirit, I would respond, “There isn’t any place in the Word of God that says to be baptized in the Holy Ghost two times.

To my former question I would say, “It is not raining outside. You are very mistaken.” And to the second baptism question I would respond, “It doesn’t exist.”

So why do we continue to pander to the heresy of those who claim a second baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues?

Rain doesn’t exist on a clear day and two baptisms in the Holy Spirit don’t exist in the Word of God.

On this issue I have learned from 2 decades of asking Pentecostals about this the question isn’t “What is truth?” to them but, “Who cares?”

Apparently, they don’t care that it is not in the Word of God. This baptism with the evidence of speaking in tongues then is to them what a rosary is to a Roman Catholic, useless.

“What is truth?” or “Who cares?”
It’s a beautiful sunny day and my close friend comes up to me under an open umbrella. He says that I need to get out of the rain or I will be soaked to the bone. What do I say to him? Do I say, “Don’t be silly. It’s a clear beautiful, rain-free day!” or do I say, “Put away the umbrella, study the condition of the weather and you will agree with the reality of it being a sunny clear day?” or do I concede and get under the umbrella with him?

Well, I would choose to say, “You are dead wrong. It is not raining out! You fool. Put away the umbrella before someone thinks you are crazy.” He gets mad at me and runs off only to return with all his friends under umbrellas!”

He accuses me of being divisive to he and his friends and they all get very angry with me. What do I do now? What do I say? What do I think of him and his friends?

There are not two baptisms
of the Holy Ghost in the Bible.
Period.

I’ll stay with truth and as they leave me alone and to myself, I question if anyone even cares to know the truth.

His Word is truth and nothing else!

Hee-Haw!
The Word of God clearly teaches that Balaam’s donkey talked. And I took this as a universal application of God’s doctrine and bought two donkeys.

I invited everyone to bring a donkey to our donkey-talking service and they eagerly enjoyed a new revelation that has not been exercised in modern times.

Our donkeys could only say Hee-Haw and we couldn’t understand their unknown language but we knew it was from God because we got feelings of excitement and were in awe at this spectacle.

Amazingly, several of our members had the gift of interpreting donkey-talk and at last we knew what they were prophesying.

Soon, donkey-talking congregations sprang up all over the area! A new Biblical experience was enjoyed and a new full-of-it gospel was born again straight from God’s Word?

May the Lord help us to reach donkey-talkers with the Word of God  and give us the perseverance to continue to preach the full truth gospel. There is no such thing as “donkey talking.”

Flesh & Spirit
When your mother was carrying you in her belly, did you have anything to do with being there? As your body parts were growing and developing, did you have anything to do with that? And when it was time for you to be delivered, was there anything you could do to stop that? And when you were startled with a slap on your butt, did you drink in the sweet savor of oxygen and breath again, and again? That was the “born of the flesh” experience.

When you are born again, there is nothing you can do to stop the will of God which caused you to be formed in His image and likeness. And when you inhale the “pneuma”,  breath of God, the Holy Spirit, you must inhale again and again to sustain your experience of being “born of Him.”

The Logos (Word of God) lives because of the Rhema (power of the Holy Spirit) in you. Breathe deeply and often so that you might live in your natural state of being in the presence of the Lord. It is unnatural to be otherwise when you have been born of His Spirit.

Spiritual Cancer
What you see is rarely what you get. Everyone has a motive for what they do. Their actions are not random but thought through consciously or subconsciously but never without thought and all that prepared them for their actions.

God measure us by the motives of our heart. And most everyone has an underlying or ulterior motive behind or under what they do.

Underlying is on the table, obvious to all and is honestly part of the equation for others to consider. Ulterior is sordid and under the table. It is self-serving at the expense of anything  that stands in it’s way.

Put your motive to the test and maybe you will learn that you have a spiritual cancer called malice. Your soul is dying a slow, painful death without your notice. And there is no cure for your self-inflicted misery. You have made yourself the victim of certain death of which there is no resurrection. It is called eternal damnation of which there is never a cure. It’s too late. Or is it?   

Truly Mercy
Praise the Lord that the police do not have the list of crimes (mental and actual) on you that the Lord has! Think about that.  If we were to be punished for what we thought or did, we all would be in prison for a long, long time.

The Lord’s righteousness is God’s justification. It is only in His atonement that we have eternal life and forgiveness. He took our “rap sheet” and suffered the punishment we deserved.  When He was on the cross, you were on His mind. He would do it all over again for you because He loves you that much.  Whatever you feel you are suffering, believe me it is mercy not judgment. It is mercy!

Thank you Jesus I am not getting what I deserve!

Roman Catholic?
How can there be a specific universality? How can you be Roman and also Catholic? Absurd.

I will ever be astounded that the Popery can get away with all their members not studying the Book of Romans.

How can any self-respecting Catholic claim the heresies of Catholicism after they have read through this Magna Charta of our faith?

Satan’s right hand has the right fools in place to lead professing Catholics into a web of lies and blasphemous dogmas and rituals.

All a Catholic needs to do is
read Romans!

It is off my spiritual chart as to why they don’t. Or stated another way: Why do fools go to fools to ask foolish questions to get foolish answers that they intern pass on to other fools? It is nothing more than a dog going back to it’s vomit. Circular reasoning at it’s worst.

Let me illustrate:
Rick: What do you believe?
Catholic: I believe what the Church believes.
Rick: What does the Church believe.
Catholic: They believe what I believe.
Rick: What do you both believe?
Catholic: We believe the same thing!

Encourage any Catholic you know to simply read the Epistle to the Romans and believe that what Paul lays out as church doctrine are Words directly from God and nothing else is. Sola Scriptura, Bible only!

 All the following Epistles are nothing more than commentary on the Book of Romans. The confirmation of our faith is there for those who wish to know the truth. But the eyes of Rome are blind as well as it leaders.

Anyone who adds or subtracts from this Book of Truth will be cast into the fiery Hell. And that includes every demon that insists you call him “Father”

Ouch!
When you accidentally touch a hot stove burner your reaction is to recoil and say “ouch.” There was a misguided choice, a reaction and a consequence.

When you purposely put your hand on the burner and keep it there, there is the same sequence of events only much more severe.

For each action, there is a reaction and a consequence. Learn from this.

Capital Punishment
We are commanded to honor the king and this is has traditionally been  king’s matter. But I believe he is overruled by “the King.” And the death penalty should be abolished.

All sin, even first-degree murder, is washed clean and atoned for by the blood of Jesus. I would not want to take the opportunity of repentance away from a convicted murderer and thus conclude that he should have life in prison without any possibility of parole. This will give the offender an undisturbed option of accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior. The option then is between him and the King not the king.

You be the Judge
What penalty would you met out to a man who sexually molests a young girl and then beats her to death with a lead pipe? How about a rapist that slits the throat of his helpless victim? And don’t forget the soldier that pounded the nails into our Lord’s wrists and ankles? What would be a fair sentence for each of these heinous acts?

And how would these sentences compare to the one deserved by you every time you sin against the God that created you and died for you?

A waste of time!
“We’re gonna” meetings are a waste of time. I am only interested in “I’m gonna” Christians. Satan will always permit you to have good intentions that never amount to accomplishing anything for the Lord. Good intentions are no excuse for no performance. So do something redemptive. Don’t rust you life away with delusions but run the race of accomplishing something worthwhile in you life that if the Lord tarries and you should go home before He comes back, He can look at what you have left behind that says, “This one’s for you!”

Meowww.
The church is in a full frontal attack by the demons of hell and your pastor is stroking a cat when he should be unleashing a pit bull. This is not the time to be “belly-up” and purring. It is the moment of eternity when we should have leaders that stand up for Jesus and attack with the sword of the Spirit and defeat the sword of the crescent.

The impotent excuse for a church that we have grown to accept as normal is so weak and passive, that I am quite sure the disciples of the primitive church would not attend.

Where is the staging ground for our assault on the enemy. Church in America has become an open sore without brave men of God to defend.

It has been rightly said that “the best defense is offense.” The times require this at least from you on the holy ground you stand upon.

You are church. What are you going to do about it?

Who’s the Infidel?
