Limitations: No grants for continuing support, endowments, general operating funds, research or publications, capital improvements, or for travel and mass mailings.

Deadlines: January 31, April 30, and August 31.

Applicants are notified by mail of a decision 6 weeks from deadline.

Applications: Endorsement from supervisor or school principal required. Applicants should submit the following:

1) detailed description of the project and the amount of funding requested,

2) how project’s results will be evaluated or measured,

3) qualifications of key personnel,

4) brief history of the organization and description of its mission,

5) timetable for implementation and evaluation of project,

6) statement of problem project will address,

7) how project will be sustained once grantmaker support is completed.
