THE EUDAIMONIA FOUNDATION
MATHS is an initiative of the Eudaimonia Foundation Corporation (EFC), a non-profit 501(c)(3), nonsectarian organization committed to improving the lives of children in Baltimore City.
EFC was established in 2004 with the purpose of promoting and extending viable educational opportunities to all children in Baltimore. The word Eudaimonia was defined by Aristotle as ‘rational activity in accordance with excellence’, manifesting all virtues towards the goal of human flourishing. EFC has espoused this philosophy and is working towards establishing a prosperous environment for Baltimore’s children by taking systematic actions and launching sustainable initiatives.
A new initiative under the EFC initiative is the Dreams in Progress mentoring program for young girls in Baltimore City. More information can be found at http://dreamsinprogress.org.
EFC is working on expanding it's educational initiatives through mentoring programs, curriculum development, after-school services and professional training. For more information, please contact:
