How You Can Help
|
Volunteer
Volunteers are always needed at local community organizations. Not only are they in need of tutors, but volunteers are needed in many other areas as well. Many programs need volunteers for other types of work such as helping with mailings, PR activities, special events and serving on Boards and Advisory Committees. It’s fun, exciting and rewarding. Contact us to learn about how you can become a volunteer, or click on to the LVI Volunteer Directory link to find a literacy program near you.
Donate
You can help by making a tax-deductible contribution to help our efforts to make sure that all adults who seek to strengthen their knowledge and skills will have access to a system explicitly designed to equip them for the future. Literacy Volunteers of Illinois’ future success depends on you and your financial support. To find out more on how you can donate, contact our office at (312) 857-1582 or click on the Donate Now link below.
Tell A Friend
Word of mouth is still the most effective way to have someone hear about a worthy cause such as this. Perhaps your friends and family will join you in becoming a Literacy Volunteer.
