Stephanie Walley was critical in the formation of the art project as we
know it now. She wryly calls these early images, her "Haldol photos",
referring to the classic expectation around psych-meds.
Yet even when Stephanie first arrived, one could see
her hiding, but beautiful, personhood,
peering through the daze of schizophrenia and the shock
