Lamp Community. Louis Moore. Since coming to Lamp Village, Louis has bravely worked on the refocus of his life and the stabilization, through life changes and an appropriate regimen of medications, of his physical and psychic well being. Furthermore he has immersed himself in his music, studying classical, flamenco, folk-rock, and rock.

Of late, Louis has been giving lessons in the foundations of music theory and the basics of guitar to Shannon, the head of Lamp's Therapy services.
Louis explained, referencing lyrics of the songwriter, Cat Stephens, that he'd "met a lot of fancy dancers". Says "they spin you across the floor". That they "spin and spin and have no answers". He says now he looks at life in a more real way, wants it on real terms, like finding a beautiful, but soberminded love, like "a hard headed woman"....

Louis has gained more power and proficiency in his life and, as can be confirmed by watching his fingers work the fretboard of his guitar, he has given new, and better, meaning, to the term "Rapid Cycling": swift dancing stringwork, and a strong, and very real, song. Louis Moore, our friend and family.
