Volunteer Position(s) Desired

Special Events Volunteers help execute special events and programs throughout the year. Weekday and weekend events are offered by King Manor, and the schedule fluctuates throughout the year. Most Special Events Volunteers are trained prior to the event for which they volunteer; a long-term commitment is not required, but is preferred.

Docents/Tour Guides conduct house tours during our weekday open hours (Thursday and Friday, 12 – 2 pm) and/or our weekend open hours (Saturday and Sunday, 1 – 5 pm). Extensive training and readings are required; guides are expected to volunteer regularly and adhere to a set schedule. We also offer the opportunity to assist with weekend craft and family workshops, and deliver our popular school programs.
