IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. is presently looking for good farm land that can be developed into a children's village. We intend this to become the site for a facility to provide housing, education, spiritual and psycological counseling and vocational training for 480 orphaned or abandoned Venezuelan street children with ages ranging from birth to 21 years of age. Therefore, we will have the possibility of hundreds of children rotating in and out of our facility every 21 years or less.

This dynamic project involves the development of a major self-sustaining fully equipped children's village, entitled, LA VILLA PINOCHO located in the city of San Cristóbal in the state of Taáchira which is in the South American country of Venezuela.

The purpose of the village is to provide housing and education as well as a broad spectrum of comprehensive services to assure that Venezuelan street children have the opportunity for safe and healthy childhoods and to lead normal, fulfilling and productive adult lives .

When complete, The Children's Village Project of IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. will include 40 cottage homes with the ability to support 12 children, a married couple and their own children comfortably in each cottage. The village will have multi-service buildings and four schools that will educate children from ages 5-17 in order to grow to their maximum potential physically, emotionally, intellectually and most importantly of all spiritually.

The village is designed to house both boys and girls in separately grouped homes. The village will also include on site: a church; a caretaker's house; a missionary guest house; a clinic; soccer courts, olympic-sized swimming pools (all generoulsy donated by Fundatáchira) and an amphitheatre to be donated at completion of the village by the Mayor of Táchira.

There will be a retail facility to offer village-grown produce and cottage industry products for sale to the Venezuelan community. There will also be an elementary school; a trade school and a farming school.

The Venezuelan children's home and the children's village were founded by Della Yeagley, the Founder and President of IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. in 1999. These facilities are under the care of the Venezuelan Board of Directors, and a pastor couple native to Venezuela. They were elected by the IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. governing board.

The Venezuelan governing board have been elected by Founder Della Yeagley, and the Governing Board of IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. in Venezuela with the approval of the IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. governing board in the United States.

IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. has experienced phenomenal success in developing collaborative relationships to make the village for Venezuelan street children a reality. We are still looking for choice acres of land to be the setting for the children's residences, as well as the site for multiple other service facilities that will transform the property into a self-sufficient village. The Venezuelan army has offered to provide soldiers to be the manpower to prepare the land for construction. A Government Organization for the State of Táchira has agreed to provide the materials, labor and engineering expertise for the construction of  THE PINOCCHIO VILLAGE.

A Venezuelan architect and engineer from the same organization has offered pro bono services for topography, schematics and facility design. A local construction company entitled Ince Construction Company has agreed to provide project oversight and direction throughout the construction period. The success of the collaborative negotiations may be truly viewed as a miracle, particularly in the context of the language differences.

IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. has also been successful in soliciting local support for the interim children's residence. Local businesses, individuals, and government sources have continually contributed food, clothing, furniture, and farm animals, funds for utilities, staffing, and volunteers. In a country with a negative economy, political turbulence, wide-spread destitution, and mistrust of foreigners, the wonderful accomplishments of IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. signify that local resources sincerely believe that the dream of The Children's Village will become a reality.
