Started at Hopevale, Inc. in 1988, the Parent and Child Trauma Program (PACT) is a specialized treatment and educational services program for adolescent survivors of trauma and their families. PACT counselors provide expertise and assistance to survivors of all types of physical and emotional trauma, including rape and sexual abuse, grief, abuse and neglect as well as domestic and community violence.

PACT counseling is offered both on a community level and to Hopevale, Inc. residents and their families as part of their treatment program. Presently, collaborations exist with a number of child caring agencies to offer on site services at their facilities including Berkshire Farms, Boys & Girls Club, Compass House, Heritage Centers, Eating Disorders Association of WNY, Inc., TRY, a program of F.L.A.R.E., Inc., YWCA—North Street and the Girl Scouts Council of Erie County .
