This tour arose from Goleta Valley Beautiful's annual Heritage Tree tour of the Goleta Valley. There are so many places to visit that we created this tour to allow you to travel among your favorite trees at your own pace. The trees in this tour are within or visible from public right of ways, or in private or semi-public areas with the permission of the owners. Please respect trees in private areas by not trespassing.

We divided the tours into sections that you can visit each one in a few hours by car, allowing you to stop and explore specific areas of interest at your leisure. The map of the Goleta Valley that accompanies this description is also available on line at www.goletavalleybeautiful.org.

We have arranged this tour so that we can update it semiannually with your favorite specimens. To help us update the tour, please send your favorite tree nominations, updates and corrections by e-mail to kennethknight@cox.net, or contact Goleta Valley Beautiful at 252-1952.
