After the being rescued from slaughter by Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc. in 2005 Freckles has found a new home.  Freckles has been adopted by Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding which serves individuals with physical, mental, or neurological disabilities through interactions with horses.
