Pierre, a CanAm Sport Horse, is 3/4 Paint and 1/4 Thorurghbred. Pierre is 4 years old. He just as happy to be in the company of people as with other horses. Pierre has lots of personality!

Troy, a CanAm Sport Horse, is a 5 year old 3/4 Draft. He is currently 15.3 hands. Troy is very athletic and bold. Excellent professional event horse prospect.

We believe everyone interacting with horses should understand the following:
- My life is likely to last 20-30 years. Any separation form you is likely to be painful.
- Give me time to understand what you want from me.
- Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
- Don’t be angry with me for long and ignore me. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
- Talk to me. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
- Beware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
- Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet I choose not to.
- Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I’m not getting the right food, I have been unsheltered for too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
- Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old.
- On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can’t bear to watch. Don’t make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I lover you so, always!

To ensure
that we are adopting out happy horses that will fit your needs each horse
receives training before leaving Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc. Based on the
cost of accruing, transporting, and training these horses our adoption fees are
higher than most rescues. These fees will vary from year to year
depending on the success of the previous fiscal year’s fund raising. The
more donations brought in by Godspeed Horse Hostel directly effects the
adoption fee of our horses to ensure our work can continue. It is our
hope that through a time extensive and caring environment these horses will
become some of the best horses you will ever own. We are happy to accommodate
payment plans.
Under special circumstances where the adoptee will provide an approved trainer to meet the needs of the horse and the guidelines of Godspeed Horse Hostel, Inc.'s training program and early adoption can be arranged.
