PROGRAM DIRECTOR - Apartment Treatment Program in NE Bronx

Description: The Program Director has two major areas of responsibility; administrative and supervisory, for the Apartment Treatment Program in accordance with the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) regulations (Part 595). The PD is responsible for the overall operations and the rehabilitative services provided by the staff to chronic psychiatrically disabled adults, provides direct supervision of three (3) Unit Directors, and is responsible for ensuring that all apartments/housing units are operated in compliance with OMH, and in accordance with the philosophy, mission, goals and policies of the agency. The Program Director reports to the Clinical Coordinator/ Quality Assurance Director.
Schedule: Office hours are Monday - Friday; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Flexibility is required to respond to crisis situations and emergencies, or to provide supervisory support/oversight as needed.
Qualifications: MSW preferred, or Master's Degree in human services, and three years of post-graduate experience working with adult SPMI individuals, two years of which should have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity within a similar program setting. Candidate must be computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge and experience working with NYS/ NYC regulatory agencies a plus.
Salary: Mid $50s to low $60s annually, based on qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits.
CASE MANAGER - Psychosocial Clubhouse in Mott Haven

Description: The purpose of the program is to engage mental health consumers by providing vocational, recreational and socialization support and services. The Case Manager will assist Program Director and other staff in the overall operation of the Clubhouse. The focus is on individual strengths and creating a nurturing environment for consumers.
Schedule: Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Some weekend and holiday work will be required.
Qualifications: Associates Degree or higher is required; some experience preferred. Ideal candidates will be organized, engaging, resourceful and creative. Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is required.
Salary: $26,000 annually plus benefits
VISITING COUNSELOR(S) - Scatter-site Apartment Treatment Program in NE Bronx

Description: Provide supported case management and supportive services to adult SPMI residents of scatter-site program. Position requires minimum 3X weekly apartments visits, and liaison with service providers. Candidates must be able to assist residents with activities of daily living and general apartment maintenance, and must be able to access areas above first floor of work site and apartment buildings.
Schedule: Office hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; however, candidates must be able to work up to 6:30 pm at least 3 days/week to conduct apartment visits.
Qualifications: BA Degree in Social Work or related human services field is required. Experience working with adult mentally ill population is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills a must; Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
Salary: $32,000 annually plus benefits
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ LIMITATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS
Candidates for all positions must be able to access areas above first floor in program and office facilities. Candidates for all direct care positions must be able to take public transportation and/or walk to apartments, climb stairs in non-elevator buildings, and demonstrate proper cleaning and apartment maintenance methods to residents in addressing their activities of daily living.
