Fund for Idaho is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit grant-making foundation created by activists to help to build a civil, just and sustainable Idaho. Idaho is blessed with natural beauty, an independent western culture, and abundant resources, yet we are part of a changing world. Like any other place on earth, we experience poverty, violence, injustice and environmental degradation.

Fund for Idaho promotes the flow of money as a catalyst for change. Each donation is a building block helping create a just, compassionate, environmentally sound and healthy society in Idaho. Wepool the financial resources of Idaho's progressive community and distribute it back to grassroots groups working on a variety of social change issues.

Fund for Idaho recruits its board and grantmaking committee members from the communities it serves and uses an activist-controlled grantmaking process unique in Idaho. As a result, our grants support the most strategic work unfolding at the local and state level. Our grantees work on a range of issues, including poverty, immigration, racism, sexism, homophobia, war, globalization, and environmental degradation.

Whether your financial situation allows you to give $25, $250, or $25,000, you can be an important partner in Fund for Idaho's work to create social transformation. If you'd like to join with those committed to the transforming work of Fund for Idaho, click Donate Now or visit our "Donor/Activist" page to see the many ways you can be part of this exciting movement, including joining our mailing list.
