The results of the August 3, 2009 Quarterly Meeting and nominations are:

Executive Vice President - Betsey McFarland

Secretary - Trudy Petkovich

Northeast Regional VP - Dee Wilson

Suncoast Regional VP - Betty Clem

Southeast Regional VP - Patricia Iania

South Regional VP - Mary Burton

Central Regional VP - no nominations

Panhandle Regional VP - see note below

There only being one nominee per office and according to our Bylaws there are no nominations from the floor, there will be no need for ballots.  The nominees will be elected by acclamation at the October Quarterly Meeting.  The meeting will be held as follows:

Date:  Monday, October 12th

Location:  Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando Florida

Time:  7:30 - 9:30 pm

There was a nomination received for Lillie Blackshear to be the Panhandle Regional VP.  There was also a nomination of Gerald Waters but Mr. Waters did not qualify under the Bylaws.  After a review of the Bylaws it was decided that Lillie Blackshear also could not be elected Regional VP of the Panhandle as she doe snot live in the area.  So it was decided to have Lillie Blackshear continue her appointment to this position until someone from the Panhandle comes forward and qualifies.
