Not far from where you live, a little girl named Jenna cried herself to sleep last night. She couldn’t help it. Her stomach ached from lack of food. She hadn’t eaten a decent meal in days. The number of hungry children like Jenna is growing.

Tens of thousands of people nationwide have lost jobs in recent months. And together with soaring food and fuel prices, many families who never thought they would need help are struggling to feed their children.
