Member agencies help the Foodbank provide hundreds of
thousands of groceries and meals to low-income people in the Virginia Peninsula
area. Currently, the Foodbank serves over 200 nonprofit member agencies. These
nonprofit organizations include churches, shelters, residential care
facilities, day support, senior, youth, and child care programs.
Each
organization has access to the Food Bank's inventory, food distribution and educational
programs. Member agencies provide food services such as emergency food
pantries, mass food distributions, soup kitchens, hot meals, bagged lunches and
snacks for low-income and at-risk populations throughout our service area.

Member Agency Resources
While membership enables organizations the basic warehouse
shopping privileges, there is much more that comes with membership. Member
agencies have benefit of the many resources that the Foodbank has to offer. These
resources are provided to enhance your organizations abilities to serve low/no income
and at-risk populations.
