Camps Skate For Fitness

Summer Camps Skate for Fitness program is the perfect way to add a quality fitness program to your camp curriculum and provide children a fun, cool activity!

Ice skating is an excellent means to help children improve their coordination and balance, develop and strengthen muscles and experience a great cardiovascular workout. The benefits of physical education are many, including reducing the risk of heart disease, strengthening bones, developing muscles, improving aerobic fitness and endurance.

In addition to the physical benefits of an active lifestyle, there are also mental, psychological and social benefits, including improved academic performance, increased interest in learning, improved judgment, and increased self discipline and goal setting.

The psychological and social benefits include improving self-confidence and self-esteem, providing an outlet for stress, strengthening peer relationships, reducing the risk of depression and promoting healthier lifestyles.
