Our Learn To Speed Skate class is a part of the Kids On Ice program. To learn more about Kids On Ice click here. Although this is an instructional speed skating class, students are provided opportunities to compete in local speed meets.
Speed Skating Class (ages 5-18)
Saturdays, June 20 - August 15 (no class July 4th)
On-Ice: 7:30 - 8:50 am Dry Land Training: 9:00 - 9:30 am
This program takes skaters from beginning speed skating skills through elite levels. It is recommended that students already have basic skating skills before enrolling (forward and backward skating, ability to stop). Registration forms will be available at the rink March 7 - June 20. The registration deadline is Saturday, June 20th. Depending on class size, registrations may be accepted after the deadline at the discretion of the Skating Directors and coaches.
