FALL 2009 SCHEDULE
Synchronized Skating Class
Saturdays, September 12 - December 12
1:00 - 2:50 pm
This class is for skaters who have passed US Figure Skating Basic 5. The class will work on skills from Basic 6 through Freestyle 1 using Synchronized Skating as a teaching tool. This is a fun way to work on your skating skills while learning how to work with a team and put it all to music!
Thursdays, September 17 - December 10
7:00 - 8:30 AM
Open to skaters of all ages who have passed USFS level Basic 4 and above. No rental, hockey or speed skates allowed. Guest coaches welcome (must register in advance with Skating Director Emily Mayer). Fee: $8 ($5 for KOI skaters).
Advanced Figure Skating (ages 6 to 18)
This class is for skaters Basic 6 and up who are actively pursuing testing in the USFS system, skate at least one hour per week outside of class, and are a member of US Figure Skating. Skaters are encouraged to take private lessons. There is a $30 fee per session. Skaters must be approved by the Skating Director to enroll. This class is a part of the Kids On Ice program, to learn more about KOI click here.
