On Saturday, June 13th, Dignity Housing held its first Women-to-Women Forum. The event was designed to connect Dignity alumni with current Dignity women to share their experiences and learn from each other.
Dignity hopes to make the Women-to-Women Forum a tradition;
an annual event where alumni and current tenants can connect.
During the event, a panel that included two Dignity alums and one current Dignity tenant shared their stories, followed by a question and answer period. The Q & A period provided both current and former tenants with an opportunity to share concerns and advice about everything from children to money management. Overall, the event proved a great opportunity for Dignity alumni and current tenants to share an open and frank dialogue about issues that affect them.
