Homebuyer Education

Our certified homebuyer education program has helped over 110 families realize the dream of homeownership during the past year.  There is a class that is right for you:  

• Orientation - Group sessions to review the basic path to homeownership.
• Front Door - Free individual session sponsored by The Housing Fund.  Meet with a counselor to develop an action plan to guide you to owning your own home.
• Fast Track - Classes meet requirements for programs designed to assist first-time homebuyers.  Realizing the American Dream curriculum is used.
• AfterCare - Follow up after training to monitor your progress including maintaining your home, finances and credit.  How to avoid predatory lending and refinancing traps are reviewed.
