Comunnity Services Block Grant (CSBG)

Emergency Food and Shelter Program

Wintercare
Wintercare: This is a statewide Energy Assistance Fund supported by private donations. Community Action Council of Lexington provides staff administration support for the statewide fund. This fund provides utility cost assistance to low-income households. LINKS WWW.COMMACTION.ORG
Kentucky Utilities Home Energy Assistance Program (KUHEAP)
Kentucky Utilities Home Energy Assistance Program (KUHEAP) This program was established collaboratively between KU Electric, Community Action Council of Lexington and KACA. The program provides customers whose primary heat source is KU electric with monthly subsidies throughout the winter and summer peak usage months. This program is offered in three of our four service area counties.
Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG)
Emergency Shelter Grants Programs (ESG) This grant provides homeless persons with basic shelter and essential supportive services. It can assist with the operational costs of a shelter. Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)
