Agency Goals

The overall goal of the agency is to develop a wide range of bilingual services to help meet the essential needs of elderly persons who come from diverse Latin American backgrounds, are low income, possess limited English speaking skills, and have received little education. the services we provide enable the elderly clients we serve to sustain themselves, to improve their quality of life and to maintain their independence.

Latino elderly as a whole have missed out on financial gains made by other U.S.senior citizens. A recent study shows that a high number (22%) exist below the poverty line and (19%) receive neither a pension nor social security benefits.
