Construction Project Updates -- For weeks of November 24 thru 30, 2008
1. Temporary Chiller will continue to be in operation in our rear parking area adjacent to Homer Street. WE are still awaiting construction permit from Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) to replace 44 year old cooling tower, and replace two fan units in a) the kitchen and b) the 11th floor. Plans resubmitted for approval August 12, 2008.
2. Work crews have installed the first two sealing coats and waterproofing of new roofing materials over the prepared surfaces above the tenth floor. At present, all other roof areas above the penthouse and all upper eyebrow roof areas are complete.
3. We are still awaiting approval of our glazing permit for replacement of the 11th floor windows.
4. Health Center Plans have been resubmitted to OSHPD for second round of comments and corrections of our plans. Backcheck comments expected by end of December.
