Outback Summer & CIT Programs

The summer program provides eight weeks of activities for children entering first through entering sixth grades. Activities are taught by professional staff and include drama, art, video, dance, nature, sports and other traditional activities. Staff are assisted by youth from the Counselor in Training Program.

There is a weekly beach trip and parents are asked to attend at least one so trips are very safe and have many chaperones. Trips have included Wingaersheek Beach, Singing Beach, Blue Hills Reservation.

Children choose their activities, but may choose free time for drawing, games and camp crafts. There is a special event each week (that in the past have included: make your own sundae, barbecue, balloon animals) The program runs from 8:30 - 2:30 with an extended day option until 5:30. There is no transportation and students must bring their lunch and morning snack. Scholarships are available.
