What to see in Boston:

This "City Upon the Hill" founded in 1630, is home to a mix of people whose heritage is drawn from every corner of the globe. They have helped shape a city rich in history, architecture, culture, tradition and enthusiasm.

Sixteen nationally significant historic sites can be seen along the red brick path, revealing our country's cherished places where American patriotism and American democracy were born.

Boston's rich seafaring history can be experienced along Boston Harbor. Ships and museums, shops and harbor islands, historic centers for shipbuilding, and scenes of romance, roguery and revolution make up this interesting and fun trail.

Boston’s cultural and entertainment options are bountiful. Museums, concert halls, and theatres are always abuzz with activity and excitement.

Known as the "Athens of America," Boston’s renowned medical and educational institutions have helped to make it an international center of learning and intellectual activity.

As one of the nation’s top sports towns, Boston is home to championship teams such as the Boston Red Sox (baseball), the New England Patriots (football), the Boston Celtics (basketball), the Boston Bruins (hockey), and the New England Revolution (soccer).
