Surveys were conducted in 1995, 1999 and 2005 to obtain the opinions of Williamson Valley residents about the development issues facing the area.
The 1995 survey was commissioned by Yavapai County and conducted by the Office of Rural Resource Management and Planning in the Department of Geography and Public Planning in the School of Forestry of Northern Arizona University.
